I'm new to the forum & this world of French Cars Citroen.
I'm in South Africa & Citroen has a really small foot print here, but decided to take the chance and buy the VTS 16 16Valve.

Is there any advice you guys can give me or comments regarding these cars.
This is a 2007 MK1.

I have been browsing the site & internet & really getting loads of advice. understand the whistle noise etc.

Another off tpic question. Can you push 103KW from the little motor?
I know standard is 93KW.

get some newman ph3 cams, remap, decent induction kit, decent manifold/sportscat/exhaust/gas flow-ported-polished cylinder head and url be running at least 155/160 bhp in a vts not sure what that is in kw sorry

Rust, noise etc.

I have noticed thus far that the C2 gearlever has quite a long throw & has lots of movement/play.

Anything that I should worry about & can it be sorted.

You're right the gearbox does seem awfully loose.. but nothing to worry about..

Only thing to worrya bout with the Vts is the loose inlet manifold.. will cause a very high pitched squeel on idle..

After a month, i finally received the car.
Looks good, but couldn't drive it as I had a bike accident on Tuesday and my left leg is in a "MoonBoot".

At least it is here, so now I can really partake in this forum.
